Two rides in one day!

1.  A quick drive to a local restaurant to celebrate the birthday of a very good friend, Kat. I got there first and arranged with the parking valet to leave it out front so Kat could check it out. Valets seem to always park the nice iron up front, and today was no exception.  Of course she loved it but we didn't have time for a ride. We both had appointments right after lunch. We'll ride another day...

2.  Another top down late afternoon ride back to the medical clinic to get the stitches removed. Everything looks good, says the doc. He wants me to come back in 10 days, but that's not going to happen because Epic Road Trip #2 starts tomorrow morning!

This time of year in SoCal the weather is absolutely perfect. Today was hot, in the upper 80s, but the humidity was very low

The evening was busy with packing for the road trip starting tomorrow.
