Mammoth Lakes - Lone Pine - China Lake

Blasting the miles down 395 with a rest stop around China Lake, the Naval Air Weapons Station. This highway is a lot of high speed straights, with great hills. Started this morning at almost 8,000' elevation. Now only 2,200'. Good fun!

Every so often there's a small town, with speed limits as low as 25mph. Yikes!

As long as I was going slow, I figured I might as well take on some body fuel and was very happy with this random choice in Lone Pine. Great Mexican food!

The car is running flawlessly. Experimenting with cruise control.
